Hello I’m Captain Jeff Stokes a local St Simons Island fishing guide. As my friends know, I have two main interests; being a fishing guide and fighting fire. I spend one third of my life serving the citizens of St. Simons Island, Brunswick, and the Glynn County area as a firefighter, and the other two thirds as a fishing guide sharing my passion for fishing our local waters with great customers. I am lucky enough to honestly say I love both of my jobs and enjoy every minute of it.
When you are on the water with me you get an expert, friendly, local guide that is here to make your day on the water enjoying, relaxing and memorable. I take fishing seriously with a laid back “island” attitude.
You will find that I keep my tackle, boat, and equipment in great shape for your satisfaction. My whole life has been lived here in the Golden Isles alongside the larger part of my family. I have been married for several wonderful years and my wife and I both look forward to raising our son here as well. When I am not working my family and I spend a lot of time on the water, I love to watch my son learn and see all of the things that makes St. Simons Island and the Golden Isles of Georgia a special place to live.
All of our equipment is kept clean, up to date and in perfect working order. We are currently running a 2014 Pathfinder 2300 HPS bay boat that carries up to 4 passengers and the captain. This boat is capable of safely crossing any body of water on our fishing grounds and can also float in 12 inches of water for fishing the shallow flats.
2017 Cayo 180 carries up to 2 passengers and the captain. This boat is used for our fly fishing charters and is capable of floating in 6 inches of water.
