Fishing Charters St Simons Island, GA

The fishing Charters in St Simons Island have been good and the books are filling up quickly with more trips. All month the bite has been pretty good. Some days you have to work harder than others than to find the fish but once you find the cleaner water then most of the time the fish have been close by.  We have been catching good numbers of trout mostly in the 13 inch range and since Georgia changed the size limits to 14 inches  most of the trout we have had to throw back. Redfish bite has been pretty strong as well mostly for me around mid to low tide and is looking like we will have a good crop of redfish this year as well. Whiting have also been plentiful this spring we have been catching good numbers of whiting out off the beaches and also back in the rivers. These fish are good for filling up the cooler if your looking to take a few back to the dock to clean and eat later that night.

Tripletail Fishing Charters

The water temperatures are climbing up quickly and the tripletail should start showing up off of the beaches any day now. For a lot of us we look forward to fishing for these fish all year long. They are definitely a challenging fish to catch and are a blast to sight fish for off of the beaches.
